Nathan, a native of the Chattanooga area, began his IT career at Unum in 2009 as a mainframe applications developer. He then moved over to infrastructure when he took a position as a mainframe database administrator in 2014. Nathan left Unum in 2017 to join Anthem, now Elevance Health, as an IMS Database Administrator in Midtown Atlanta. He works at Kyndryl, formerly IBM Global Technology Services, as a mainframe database administrator supporting the Elevance Health account and working towards a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Georgia Tech.
Nathan’s expertise in the mainframe and distributed/cloud platforms has allowed him to work on projects that unify “legacy” and modern applications and databases. He enjoys playing golf and being on the air as an Extra class amateur radio operator (W4GOP). Nathan lives in Chamblee, GA, with his wife Lauren, two kids, and three cats.
